The Circle of Life

A psychologist, a biologist, and a social worker had the following conversation over dinner.

SW: In China the cucumbers taste like bananas.

B: Really? I wonder why?

P: It could have something to do with what they fertilize them with.

B: How so?

SW: In China they fertilize their crops with human feces.

B: But why would that make them taste like bananas?

P: Well, food tastes differently depending on what you fertilize it with.

B: But bananas?

P: Suppose the human eats a banana first.

B: Wow. It's kind of like the circle of life, isn't it? I mean, a human eats a banana and poops. Then the poop fertilizes a cucumber. Then the human eats the cucumber.

SW: I'll never look at a cucumber the same way again.
